We strive to preserve and protect our environment and local cultures to the best of our ability.
With the 2030 Agenda, the United Nations defined 17 sustainability goals for mankind: they relate to the environment, social issues, peace and global partnership. The DSR Group is committed to these goals and wants to make an active contribution to achieving them not only economically, but also in terms of society as a whole.
Against this background, the DSR Group complies with all relevant ESG standards, which solidly and efficiently safeguard the sustainability of corporate activities for the future within the framework of taxonomic regulations.

As globalisation continues to intensify, the place where we spend our leisure time and holidays is becoming more and more important. People long for regionally based cultural experiences and an unspoiled natural environment that offers variety and a retreat from advancing standardisation.

ESG Performance
In order to realise our guiding principle, the Deutsche Seereederei Group (DSR Group) has set out to implement specific programmes, standards and key figures in its strategy and daily business (so-called ESG standards). We see the transformation of the DSR Group according to high and provable ecological and social standards as a duty to assume social responsibility: for our employees, our guests and also the communities in different regions and countries. The implementation of our goals is part of our overall corporate action and the task of every team member. In addition to the introduction of cross-hierarchical ESG officers and a central control unit in the company, the monitoring and achievement of goals is successively documented by independent certification institutes on the basis of defined key figures. In the combined effect of defined ESG standards, corporate responsibility and creativity, and a precise knowledge of and adaptation to the economic framework conditions, the DSR Group is a reliable partner in times of structural change. Deutsche Seereederei’s sustainability strategy is led by our InnovationLab and our ESG Working Group. You can find more information regarding our InnovationLab here. For further questions regarding the topic ESG please use our contact form.
In addition to its entrepreneurial and social commitment, Deutsche Seereederei has also been doing philanthropic work for several decades.
