With the 2030 Agenda, the United Nations defined 17 sustainability goals for mankind: they relate to the environment, social issues, peace and global partnership. The DSR Group is committed to these goals and wants to make an active contribution to achieving them not only economically, but also in terms of society as a whole.
In September 2023, the DSR Group published its first sustainability report. It presents baseline values for ESG-relevant KPIs, introduces sustainability measures that have already been started and outlines the ESG process we are following going forward.

In order to realise our guiding principle, the Deutsche Seereederei Group (DSR Group) has set out to implement specific programmes, standards and key figures in its strategy and daily business (so-called ESG standards). In addition to the introduction of cross-hierarchical ESG officers and a central control center within the company, the monitoring of our sustainability measures will be successively audited by independent certification institutes in the future.
In the combined effect of defined ESG standards, corporate responsibility and creativity, and a precise knowledge of and adaptation to the economic framework conditions, the DSR Group is a reliable partner in times of structural change.
